One point of contact.
Long-term power support.

GenPro provides full diesel generator installations and commissioning within the United Kingdom, together with service contracts, generator parts and service kits. We help you plan the installation, put the equipment into operation and maintain it throughout its working life.

Tell us about your site, electrical load and generator. We will prepare a scope and quotation around the work you need.

Discuss your project
01 / Full installation

Diesel generator installations across the UK.

We offer a complete installation service for new generator projects and replacement installations. Each project starts with the site requirements: the load to be supported, available space, access, acoustic requirements and the connection to your electrical system.

The agreed scope can bring together generator positioning, mounting arrangements, power and control connections, changeover equipment, fuel connections, ventilation and exhaust arrangements. Survey findings establish the work, responsibilities and any specialist or enabling works required.

For an existing installation, share photographs, drawings and details of the current generator and switchgear. For a new site, send the proposed location and your electrical load schedule.

Plan the installation around the site

  • Generator duty, output, voltage and phase
  • Delivery access, offloading and final position
  • Base, clearances and service access
  • Cabling, controls and transfer switching
  • Ventilation, exhaust, noise and fuel arrangements
  • Site readiness, planned shutdowns and handover

02 / Commissioning

Put your generator into service with confidence.

GenPro offers generator commissioning within the UK. The commissioning scope is agreed against the generator, controls and completed installation so the equipment can be checked, set up and handed over for its intended use.

Pre-start checks

Review installation readiness, fluids, fuel supply, battery condition and the interfaces included in the agreed scope.

Operational checks

Check start and stop operation, output settings, alarms, protections and automatic-transfer functions where fitted and included.

Handover and records

Record the commissioning details, explain the operating controls and identify the maintenance schedule and warranty information for the supplied equipment.

Load testing, witness testing and any additional site tests are specified in the quotation. Commissioning is arranged once the installation is ready; any outstanding remedial work is identified before the system is handed over.

03 / Planned maintenance

Generator service contracts.

A standby generator still needs scheduled maintenance, even when it rarely runs. Regular-use generators need a service plan that reflects their operating hours, duty and environment. GenPro offers service contracts tailored to the engine manufacturer’s time and operating-hour intervals.

Agree the visit frequency, inspections, consumables and reporting for your installation. Depending on the generator and selected service scope, this can include oil and filter changes, fuel and cooling-system checks, battery checks, leak inspections and operational testing.

Your quotation sets out what is included and how additional repairs, replacement parts and call-outs are handled. Keep service and operating records alongside the generator warranty documentation.

For a service-contract quotation, send:

  • Site postcode and access arrangements
  • Generator make, model and serial number
  • Engine make, model and serial number
  • Current hours and estimated annual use
  • Standby or regular-use duty
  • Last service date and available history

04 / Parts support

Generator parts and service kits.

We sell generator parts and service kits, with enquiries supported for Perkins, Cummins, Baudouin and Scania-powered equipment. Send the engine serial number and any existing part numbers so the correct specification can be checked before ordering.

Service-kit enquiries can include oil filters, fuel filters, air filters, belts and the other consumables required for a particular scheduled service. Exact contents, component brand, compatibility, price and availability are confirmed with the quotation.

Help us identify the right part first time

Include a clear photograph of the engine data plate, the generator model, the part number if known, the required quantity and your delivery postcode. For a service kit, also tell us the current hours and the service interval you are carrying out. A generator kVA rating alone is not enough to identify the correct parts.
