Data protection and your rights

This page explains the website’s data-protection features and how to exercise your rights under UK data-protection law. Read it alongside the privacy policy, which describes the information involved, purposes, retention criteria and contact details.

Website privacy features

  • The enquiry form sends details to our business inbox when you select Send email enquiry. Alternatively, you can review and send the details in WhatsApp.
  • No customer account or online payment is required to browse specifications.
  • Comparison storage contains generator model identifiers, not contact details.
  • No advertising pixels or analytics scripts have been added to the site.
  • HTTPS protects information in transit to the website. Hosting security services can process technical information and set security cookies.

Request access, correction or deletion

Email info@genprogenerators.co.uk with a description of your request and enough information to locate the relevant correspondence. You can also call 0121 517 0315 or write to the contact address in our privacy policy. No special form is required.

You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability where the relevant right applies. You can withdraw consent where processing relies on it, and object to legitimate-interest processing. Direct-marketing objections can be made at any time.

What to expect

Reasonable identity checks may be needed to protect your information; do not send identity documents unless requested through an agreed channel. Requests are normally answered within one month, subject to applicable rules on identity checks, clarification and permitted extensions. If a request cannot be fulfilled, you should receive the reason and information about your options. Legal retention duties can limit deletion.

Report a concern

If you think personal information has been sent to the wrong person or exposed, contact the team promptly and describe what happened. Do not include further sensitive information unnecessarily. You may also raise a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
