How GenPro Power Solutions handles enquiries, website information and your privacy rights.
Last updated: 17 October 2026
Who is responsible for your information?
GenPro Power Solutions is the trading brand used on this website by Genpro Generators Limited (company number 15721993). For privacy enquiries, contact info@genprogenerators.co.uk, telephone 0121 517 0315, or write to Unit 1, Greets Green Road, West Bromwich, West Midlands, B70 9EJ.
Information you provide
When you contact us, your enquiry may include your name, company, email address, telephone number, site location, generator requirements and correspondence. Please provide only information relevant to your enquiry and avoid sending sensitive personal information.
The email enquiry button sends your form details to info@genprogenerators.co.uk using our email delivery provider, Resend. Enquiry contents are not stored in a website database. Temporary technical records help limit spam. The WhatsApp option opens your enquiry in WhatsApp; you review it and tap Send there. Calls and direct email remain available.
Why information is used
Enquiry information is used to answer questions, identify suitable generators, prepare quotations and arrange requested orders or services. Where you are contracting personally, processing necessary to take steps at your request or fulfil your contract may apply. For business contacts, the relevant legitimate interest is responding to business enquiries and managing the customer relationship. Information required for accounting or other statutory duties is processed to meet legal obligations.
Submitting an enquiry does not sign you up to a website mailing list. Where consent is relied on for a separate purpose, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Website data, cookies and browser storage
This website has no added advertising pixels or analytics scripts. Fonts and engine logos are served from the website. The comparison tool uses session storage named genpro-compare to remember selected model identifiers in your browser tab. It does not store your name or contact details. Use “Clear comparison” to remove that selection; session storage normally ends when the tab is closed.
The hosting and security infrastructure can process IP addresses, request times, browser information and requested URLs to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. Cloudflare may set security cookies, including __cf_bm, for bot protection. This is separate from advertising tracking. Browser settings allow you to inspect and manage cookies; blocking security cookies can affect access.
Service providers and external links
Website delivery uses Sites hosting and Cloudflare infrastructure. Email form submissions pass through Resend to our business mailbox. WhatsApp enquiries pass through WhatsApp when you choose that option. Where necessary to respond to an enquiry or fulfil an order, relevant information may need to be shared with providers involved in that request, such as delivery or installation contacts. Information may also be disclosed where legally required.
External links, including WhatsApp and social networks, have their own privacy notices. Service providers may process information outside the UK. Contact us for details of the providers and transfer arrangements relevant to your enquiry; applicable transfers require appropriate safeguards or another lawful mechanism.
How long information is kept
Retention depends on the purpose of the record: whether an enquiry remains active, whether it results in an order, the duration of any service or warranty relationship, legal record-keeping requirements and the need to resolve a dispute. Information should not be retained beyond those needs. Contact us for the retention period applicable to a particular record. Browser comparison selections are held only for the browser session as described above. Anti-spam counters use a one-way, time-specific identifier and contain no enquiry text or contact details; expired counters are removed when subsequent enquiries are processed.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access to personal information, correction, deletion, restriction of use or a portable copy. Some rights have exceptions, including where records must be retained by law. See our GDPR and data rights page for how to make a request.
Your right to object
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, giving reasons relating to your situation. You can object to use of your personal information for direct marketing at any time.
Concerns and complaints
Please contact us using the details above if you have a privacy concern. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, telephone 0303 123 1113, or Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF.
Updates
This notice will be updated when website features or information-handling arrangements change. The date above identifies the current notice.
